The Burning Bush incident in Exodus set the course of humanity’s history. Moses saw something strange — a bush that burned but was not consumed — and decided: “I will now turn aside, and see this great sight” (Exodus 3:3). The Creator responded, and the rest is history.
The twenty-first century is full of Burning Bushes of its own: the incredible, the wonderful, and the miraculous — as well as the strange and the terrifying — and their brightness and frequency are increasing. The 21st Century Burning Bushes series invites readers to make the same decision Moses made: turn aside and examine what the Creator is communicating through the extraordinary events, discoveries, and spiritual movements of our time.
Each chapter uncovers a Burning Bush through a consistent Point, Counter-Point, God-Point method — with the Word of God as the fixed reference point — and concludes with pragmatic recommendations for action.
Volume I, Spiritual Burning Bushes, lays the foundation: Jesus Christ, the Word of God, Revivals, and Supernatural manifestations. Volume II, Science and Technology, explores Quantum Mechanics, AI, Transhumanism, Bitcoin, and the doomsday risks of a high-tech century. Volume III, Culture, Society, and Morality, confronts Woke ideology, moral decadence, the New Age, secret societies, Christian hypocrisy, and God’s Kingdom.
These Burning Bushes all point to our Lord Jesus Christ, and they are precursors to a final showdown. We must not ignore them, but turn aside and examine them with wisdom, prayer, and discernment — and act accordingly.
